Welcome to Babies & Beyond Therapy Hub

Babies & Beyond Therapy Hub is a Brisbane-based Occupational Therapy Practice that treats children aged 0-8.

Our Red Hill practice prioritises access and inclusivity with full wheelchair access and two sensory gyms to ensure we can meet families on their journey and provide individualised support.

At Babies & Beyond Therapy Hub (BBTH), we are passionate about adopting a family-centred approach, allowing us to help parents understand their child’s sensory personality and begin addressing the “why” behind each child’s unique behaviour or challenges.

From the first assessment to the last treatment, parents can be confident that BBTH will walk the journey alongside them and ensure that support is tailored to each family’s unique situation. Supporting families through a family-centred approach allows a high level of support, guidance and education aligned to an individualised care plan to ensure parents can cultivate a better understanding of their child’s needs empowering them to make confident decisions that serve the best interest of the child and allow parents to become true advocates throughout childhood and beyond.

At BBTH, we believe early intervention is critical to prevent future functional difficulties by providing early support that allows each child to succeed in various everyday activities.

Early Childhood Intervention allows occupational therapy practitioners to promote the function and engagement of infants and their families in everyday routines by addressing areas of occupation, which include activities of daily living, rest and sleep, play, education and social participation.

We aim to advocate for families by supporting children and their parents by providing tools to accept and manage challenging behaviours that may impact daily life.

Babies & Beyond Therapy Hub uses a play-based, neuro-affirming framework to develop motor, cognitive, sensory and behavioural skills, all essential for participation in daily activities, including dressing, feeding, writing, playing and social skills.

This means you can expect the following:

An individualised journey, accompanied by your passionate occupational therapist.

A focus on the child’s occupation: to play, learn and develop.

Interventions at the clinic, home or at kindy/school depending on your family’s needs.

The use and implementation of environmental modifications, positioning, adaptive equipment, caregiver education and support.
